What to do when something is not working, and how to reach a person who can fix it. Last updated 23 September 2026.
GETTING HELP FROM A PERSON
Email shoot@machinegunamerica.com and describe what happened. It reaches the range directly.
If something went wrong in the app, tell us your Dog Tag number if you have one, roughly when it happened, and what you were trying to do. That is usually enough to find it.
If you are at the range right now and something is wrong with your bay or your session, do not email: tell the Range Safety Officer on the floor or the front desk. They can fix it in seconds; email cannot.
WHAT THIS APP IS
FIRECON is Machine Gun America's app for guests of the range in Kissimmee, Florida. It gives you your free Dog Tag, carries your waiver and safety brief, and keeps the record of what you shot.
It is not a store. You cannot buy a firearm or ammunition through this app. What you buy at the range, you buy at the venue, from a person.
DOG TAGS
Your Dog Tag is your pass at the range. It looks like MGA-2026-00001, it is free, and you get it when you sign up.
Signing up ends with a one-time code, sent to your email or, if you choose, by text to your mobile. The code proves the address or number is yours, and that is what lets your Dog Tag follow you from phone to phone.
Lost the number, or changed phones? Choose Sign in on the home screen and enter the email address or mobile number you signed up with. Your Dog Tag, and everything you have signed, comes back with you on any device.
If sign-in does not bring your Dog Tag back, the front desk can link it for you in person, with photo ID.
One Dog Tag per person, and every adult signs up for themselves. Coming as a family? A parent chooses “Add my child” in their own account and enters just the child's name and date of birth. The child gets their own Dog Tag under the parent's account, with no email or phone of their own.
Coming with friends? Send each of them the sign-up link. Everyone signs their own waiver, so nobody waits at the counter.
WAIVERS, THE SAFETY BRIEF, AND THE DAY OF YOUR VISIT
Everyone who goes past the lobby to the bays, shooting or watching, signs an agreement (the waiver) for themselves. You can sign it in the app any time after you sign up, up to 12 months before your visit. It takes about 3 minutes.
If the app says waivers open soon, our new agreement is still with our lawyers. Your Dog Tag is ready, and we will email you as soon as you can sign.
The safety brief takes about 5 minutes and only counts on the day of your visit. Take it on your phone that day, before you come in, or on the lobby kiosk.
At the front desk, show your Dog Tag and your photo ID. Staff look at the ID to check it matches your agreement; it is not copied or kept. You also confirm that your answers are still true today.
Bringing someone under 18? Their agreement is signed by a parent (not a grandparent, a step-parent who has not adopted them, an older sibling, a coach or a chaperone) from the parent's own account, and that parent must be at the range with them, with photo ID. Email us before you book so we can confirm what they can do on the day.
You can read what you signed at any time: open your profile (Me) and choose “My signed release”. It shows the name and date of birth you signed with, every section you initialled, your signature and the version you agreed to, and you can save or print it. If your email address is verified, a PDF copy is emailed to you when you sign.
A signed agreement cannot be edited or withdrawn after the fact. It is the record of what you agreed to. A correction does not overwrite one; you sign a fresh one in front of a manager, and both are kept.
Got a date of birth wrong, and now the app says it does not match? That is a two-minute fix at the desk with photo ID. Do not keep trying from your phone.
Rather sign on paper? Ask at the desk. The safety brief is in English, Español and Português, and the agreement will be too once each translation is certified.
TEXT MESSAGES
We text one-time verification codes, updates about your bookings and visits, and, only if you ticked the box for them, promotional texts (up to 4 a month).
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

YOUR DATA, AND CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
Mistyped your callsign, or the name on your Dog Tag? Both can be corrected from your profile in the app. You do not need to close your account to fix a typo, and you should not, because closing it cannot be undone.
Your email address and mobile number are how you sign in, so they are changed by proving the new one with a code rather than by typing it into a form. Ask at the desk.
To close your account, open your profile (Me), then “Your account”. The screen lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept before you confirm anything, including how much brass you are about to lose: brass cannot be cashed out, moved to another account, or restored afterwards.
An unsettled tab is not cancelled by closing your account. It stays on your Dog Tag and the desk settles it as normal.
Some records stay after you close your account because we must keep them: signed agreements, desk check-ins, consent records and the range safety log. The Privacy Policy says how long each is kept.
Questions about your data, or a request you would rather we handled for you: info@bigdevelop.com.
IF YOU WORK HERE
Staff stations (the clock, the register, the bay screens, the roster) live behind the same app, not a separate one. Badge in at the staff door and you are handed only the stations your role opens.
If a station you should have is missing, that is a role on your record, not a bug in the app. Ask a manager to check it rather than reinstalling.
If the clock did not record a punch, do not try again repeatedly. Tell a manager the same shift: a missed punch is corrected by a manager-authorised entry, and that is much easier to do while everyone remembers the day.
COMMON PROBLEMS
My code never arrived: it goes to exactly the email address or mobile number you typed on the sign-up or sign-in screen, so check that for typos first. Email codes can land in spam or junk; texts can take a minute. Then ask for a new one, or switch between email and text.
It says my waiver needs signing again: our agreement was updated, or your last one is more than 12 months old. Signing the current one takes about 2 minutes.
The camera will not scan the code on my bay screen: check the app has camera permission in your phone's settings, then hold steady about a foot back. If the screen is glared out, the RSO can add you by hand.
My shots are not showing up: tell the RSO on the floor while you are still at the bay. Shot data is tied to the session, and it is far easier to sort out before the session closes.
The app looks wrong after an update: close it fully and reopen it. If that does not do it, email us and say which screen.
